    Jens Odegaard

    Jens is the grandaddy and founder of NW Surf & Snow. Raised by river-guide ski-instructor parents in Bend and Lakeview, Oregon as well as Santa Fe, New Mexico he's been skiing since age 2 and guided his first two-man inflatable kayak at age 7. Due to a distinct lack of coastline in the high deserts of central Oregon and New Mexico it wasn't until he moved to Corvallis, Oregon at age 17 that surfing entered the picture. A good majority of his time is spent writing and photographing for his various jobs and projects, but his passion lies in the outdoors and he can be spotted in the wild in the Cascades and on the coast. It won't be long before he introduces his newborn daughter to the joys of water--whether it takes the form of snow or surf.

  • Eli Odegaard

    Eli is Jens' younger, more handsome brother. Known mainly for his unruly hair, "Hans," as he is known among friends, hucks bigger on skis and crashes harder than anyone around him. In the summer, he can be found guiding boatloads of high-school girls, Asian tourists and pasty yuppies down the Deschutes, McKenzie and North Umpqua rivers. In the winter, he spends as much time in the mountains as humanly possible while still trying to pass his classes. Currently residing in Bend, Oregon, Eli is soon bringing his personal party to Corvallis to pursue his passion for videography in the New Media program at OSU.

    Dan Sweet

    Dan is Design Director and Web Developer for NW Surf & Snow. He enjoys being involved with the company despite having only surfed twice and skied once, to very little acclaim. Dan is, however, a fairly competent designer and illustrator, and you should check out his other work at dansweetdesign.com.
